Lance Billingsley is an educator at a unique, private International school located in a Bali Jungle, he is also an avid surfer and this year, he might have caught one of the waves of his life, on one of the swells of the year at the notorious Langundri Bay on the Island of Nias. Previously, he joined me on episode 11 (that’s over 70 episodes ago) in which he discussed his travels through South America, perspectives on education, getting a gun pulled on him in Argentina, growing up in Ventura California, surfing in Peru, Mexico, various parts of Indonesia and of course Bali, where he currently lives and works. I consider Lance a dear friend.  A mate if you will. He loves Australia, and Australian wildlife, as signified by the tattoo of a Koala on his chest. True story. Random, but true. Anyway, it’s safe to say that a lot has happened in both of our lives (not to mention the whole world) in the last 12 months and it just felt like a good time for a catch-up with a good mate. So today, Lance is with me to check in, live from his home in Canggu, Bali, to share his journey, experiences, challenges and hopes for the future.
